The next Made by Google event will likely take place in 2023. Its latest event was on October 6, 2022. Google I/O is a separate event that typically happens in the spring.
What Will Google Announce?
On October 6, Google officially announced its Pixel 7 and 7 Pro smartphones, Pixel Watch, and the latest Pixel Buds. All these devices were manufactured using recycled materials. The company also previewed the Pixel Tablet, which will arrive in 2023.
Previous Google Events
Google I/O featured teasers of Android 13, Pixel 7, and Glasses. It also showed off a Pixel Watch with Fitbit integration, the Pixel Buds Pro (its answer to the AirPods Pro), a Pixel tablet, and AR Glasses. Google didn’t offer much information about their AR Glasses aside from a demo of live translation during a conversation. Availability, pricing, and specs are not yet known. The Pixel 6a smartphone announced in March also got a closer look. We should get more details about these products and software updates in the fall. Android 12 came out in Fall 2021, as did the Pixel 6 smartphone line. The company unveiled the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones on October 19, 2021. The smartphones feature an array of improvements, including Google’s Tensor system-on-chip (SoC). The company had teased the smartphones in August, alongside its announcement of the 5G Pixel 5a.
