According to the numbers on SteamDB, Steam has set a new concurrent user record for itself over this past Thanksgiving weekend, capped off at 27,384,959. November 28 saw an almost 500K increase over April’s previous record (26,922,926). Though the number of Steam users playing games at that time was 7,827,251, meaning nearly 20 million people were using the app but not playing a game. Light Reading confirms that T-Mobile will shutter Sprint’s network by June 30, 2022, which would be more than two years since the $26 billion merger. T-Mobile said it is retiring the network to free up resources and spectrum that will help strengthen the entire network. “Moving customers who are on old networks onto modern, advanced high-speed networks means they will need to have phones and devices that can tap into the latest technologies and don’t rely on older ones,” T-Mobile noted in its support page detailing the network evolution....

On Wednesday, TikTok unveiled TikTok Resumes, a new program designed to help TikTok users find new jobs by creating video resumes for themselves. It’s currently only open in the US, but TikTok says that it has partnered with companies like Chipotle, WWE, Alo Yoga, Shopify, and more. “TikTok Resumes is a natural extension of our TikTok College Ambassadors program, where we previously employed hundreds of college students as on-campus brand representatives,” Kayla Dixon, the marketing manager at TikTok, said in the announcement....
